Week 32:  May 2-6

 

5/2       Continue lecture presentations

            Homework:  Continue reviewing.  I will stay after school if anyone needs more

             help.  

 

5/3     Continue lecture presentations, thesis exercise during ETEH

5/5 Lecture presentations

Homework:  Continue reviewing.  I will stay after school if anyone needs more help.  Get at least 8 hours of sleep—all of you!!  Wake up early enough and have at least a little breakfast—not a bunch of sugar.  Relax, and APUSH your way through it and “Strive for five”—Never Give Up and Never Give In.

 

5/6  AP Exam

4/26 & 27 Optional study guide on Test 13 is due.  We will review for test and go over and assign Decades project

4/28 & 29 Test 13, Flash cards on VUS.14 & 15 are due

5/3 & 5/4 Practice SOL test in A-19 lab and after you are done you may work on your decades project

5/5 & 5/6 go over practice SOL test and other reviews

5/9 & 5/10 SOLS in U. S. History

4/25 Supreme Court case matching quiz—you may NOT use notes.

Finish timeline presentations and answer questions on AP Exam

Homework:  Study for first AP Test. I will stay after school if anyone needs

            more help.  I will show the movies in their entirety.

 

4/26  Begin lecture presentations

During ETEH we will go over DBQ intro paragraphs

4/27  FIRST AP TEST—You will take it during A & B  During 

            ETEH we will begin going over the test.

4/28  Working Lunch.  Finish going over practice AP Exam and begin Lecture

presentations

NOTE:  You all should be reviewing your notes nightly until the exam.  If you remember at the beginning of the course—you need to be responsible for getting the content down.  Go through your notes, highlight them, and devise methods of remembering pertinent facts.  Use the course outline projects.  Make sure you know all information concerning the topics addressed in it.

ALL CLASSES–SOL PREPARATION/AP PREPARATION

I will be staying after school every day next week starting on Monday, 4/25 until 5pm showing the movies, “The Century Series” about the 20th century.  If you are a visual learner, these are excellent to watch about the history of the 1900s.  You must have a ride home.

Homework this week :

Due 4/6 and 4/7:  Finish the class assignment of reading Ch. 20 and define the 43 bold terms also answer the questions on the 10 visuals on the following pages:  661, 662, 665, 667, 672, 673, 674, 676-677, 683, and 685.

Due on 4/8 for everyone:  Flash cards on VUS.10

Also study for the benchmark which is Thursday, 4/14 for evens, and Friday, 3/15 for odds.  It will include questions VUS.2 through VUS.10 and a couple of questions on WWII.  Study the extra credit packet on WWII for those.
