Welcome to Prince George High School. We are located in Central Virginia in Prince George County.Our population consists of 10th through 12 grade county students and those who live on the Fort Lee Military Installation.


Parents/Guardians:

As we come to the end of another academic year, we hope that your child has had a successful year at Prince George High School. We want to emphasize the importance of hard work, regular attendance, and appropriate behavior through June 14 to ensure a successful completion of the school year.

Seniors are preparing to participate in their one and only high school graduation. This is a period in which closure is being brought to a part of their lives. They have worked long and hard to reach this point. Let us all treat this ceremony with respect and dignity. We want to thank the seniors and their parents for their attendance at the graduation meetings. We feel these meetings have set a tone for a successful graduation ceremony on June 8, 2013.

The SOL tests have begun and we know that students and teachers have spent all year preparing to demonstrate high scores on these minimum competency standards. I look forward to reporting great results on these tests in the near future. Please review your child's copy of the registration guide concerning graduation requirements for graduation in regard to the SOL tests. Contact our guidance office with any questions concerning verified credits and/or graduation requirements.

For those sophomores and juniors who will be returning next year, we wish you a safe and relaxing summer vacation and look forward to seeing you in September.
